Battling? Simple. Each turn, you and opponent exchange blows until one of you fall to 0 HP.
This is slightly unique however. Battles here will utilize a row system similar to those in most console FF games. Your starting row must be in your stats for you to battle.
The differences in front row and back row as follow
FRONT: Melee attacks do normal damage, but Ranged attacks will never hit their targets
BACK: Ranged attacks hit normally, but Melee attacks won't hit the target
First turn right are decided with the dice, on top of the post you should see a dice button, click it and post to get your number. Higher number goes first obviously.
You start with 2 Attack slots to fight with. One attack takes one attack slot unless otherwise noted.
Dodges and Blocks do not take attack slots.
Changing from the Front to Back row and vice versa DOES take one attack slot
Examples on rows
EXAMPLE 1
Player 1 is in front row
Player 2 is in back
Player 1 can melee and connect
Player 2 cannot use melee and hit
Player 1 cannot use range and have it hit
Player 2 can use range and have it hit
EXAMPLE 2
Both players in back row
Neither player can connect with Melee
Both players can use Range and hit
EXAMPLE 3
Both players in front row
Both players can use Melee to hit
Neither player can use Range to hit
ALSO!
if you are in the front row and your opponent is in the back row, your melee attacks will do -15 damage and your opponents range attacks will do -15 damage as well.
